At Katnaps Kattery we are committed to protecting your private and personal details. Any information we collect will only be used by staff at Katnaps Kattery and for the purpose it is intended for, except in special circumstances as detailed below.
In order to comply with the current legislation on data protection (GDPR), we have to tell you what personal data we hold about you, why we hold it and have your permission to retain it.
Information is held about all of our customers so we can ensure we can contact you in case of emergency, and to comply with the terms of our licence.
We collect information from you when you become a customer of Katnaps Kattery.

Katnapss Kattery implement certain security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information and must retain your records for a minimum of 3 years after your stay. The maximum time we retain records for is 7 years from your boarding date. All information held on paper and no longer required will be shredded after this time. If for any reason you no longer wish for your data to be held by Katnaps Kattery, please advise us in writing.
We do not sell or transfer any of your information to any outside party. We may release your information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, or protect ours or other’s rights, property, or safety. Your cat’s photo and name may appear on our website, Facebook or Instagram page and we will never use your name in any posts.
You will be asked to sign a consent form when you bring your cat for boarding. If you do not wish to sign the consent form, then unfortunately we will be unable to accept your cat for boarding.
Any changes to our Data Protection Policy will be amended on this page.
